The Senior Product manager will deliver technical, operational, and commercial plans to senior leaders across our Valves business.  You will own profitability and growth through Long Range Planning and development of a Multi-Generational Product Plan for the Consolidated, Pressure Relief Valve product portfolio.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Leading the development and implementation of growth strategies for Consolidated Pressure Relief Valve products
  • Understanding current market positions and drive product line(s) to be a global leader in the PRV market
  • Meeting with customers (End User’s and EPC’s) to obtain direct Voice of Customer (VOC) to clearly understand the customer’s product needs (i.e. Product gaps, NPD needs, lead time needs, etc.)   
  • Prioritizing and define New Product Development (NPD) activities based on market needs and supported by strong business cases
  • Developing clear go-to-market guidelines, by sales region and industry segment, to maximize profitable growth
  • Identifying adjacent markets that can grow market share and expand SAS
  • Identifying and drive cost reduction activities with Engineering, Configuration Management, Sourcing and Manufacturing
  • Working with Sales, Regional Commercial teams and Aftermarket teams to develop and implement aftermarket and channel strategies
  • Evaluating product competitiveness by assessing competitors’ strengths and weaknesses
  • Working with Marketing and Communications to develop materials, programs, and support for products
  • Communicateingwith frequency to core team of stakeholders around the world to ensure clarity of all programs being driven by Product Management
  • Travelling expectation:  25-40%

  • Have a degree from an accredited university or college
  • Have good experience with Pressure Relief Valve Product Lines
  • Have good experience in Product Management
  • Have proven leadership abilities, strong understanding of business fundamentals and financials
  • Have understanding of functional impact to the business, including supply chain and commercial activities
  • Have good communication skills and confidence with executive presentations
  • Have knowledge of PRV markets, customers, and regional requirements including awareness of Technical Regulations & Standards
  • Have entrepreneurial spirit to drive growth
  • Have experience leading global teams and cross functional organizations
  • Be proficient in Power Point and Excel programs
