The Senior Application Developer - (MuleSoft) is a team lead responsible for developing high performing solutions for the Correspondence program. The team lead should be able to work with other members of the team on best practices around application development. They should be flexible and willing to learn new programming skills and should be able to migrate existing solutions from one development stack to another based-on organization roadmap.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates within the Agile framework, fosters a team approach to software development (review code) and delivery (release activities and postproduction validations)
- Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help program achieve their goal
- Configuring APIs, API portals, proxy endpoints and API analytics based on technical specifications with MuleSoft API manager
- Designing and developing enterprise services using RAML in Mule, REST based APIs, SOAP Web Services and use of different Mule connectors
- Participate in the delivery of our integration projects across multiple business domains
- Documents designs, operational tasks/issues, and solutions as needed
- Conceptualize a new product or, new feature or, new component and to test new technologies or features through Proof of Concept (POC)
- Develop unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality
- Support existing technical stack, architecture, and codebase
- Participate in teams on call
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft development
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SQL experience in a professional setting
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins, Maven, Git and/or comparable toolsets
- Working knowledge of Middleware, Mule ESB, Strong knowledge of SOA and experience in designing Mule Interfaces
- Working knowledge of MuleSoft inbound/outbound connectors, for example: Web Services, File, Database, Salesforce, JMS, AWS services, etc.
- Working knowledge on Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Prior experience on Java and GitActions is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and learn quickly
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems or High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution with relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scrum master experience working with POs and RTEs to align roadmap deliverables
- Prior experience on Informatica platform and/or AWS Glue is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skills
- MuleSoft certification
- Healthcare/Health insurance domain knowledge

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $91,900 - $132,770
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $80,900 - $120,360
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
