We are currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Corporate Clinical Operations team. 



 

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing the clinical pharmacy services and related costs, where applicable, company-wide, to include analysis of usage, pharmacology, dosing and scripting trends and data; negotiation of contracts with pharmacy suppliers in an effort to reduce expense while providing for the medically necessary treatment of patients.  Coordinating with and educating Program Managers and Physicians in multi-state locations on best practices, security, administration, recordkeeping and reporting, as required by contract and/or state or federal regulations.  Evaluates, implements, and monitors pharmaceutical practices to enhance cost efficiency without compromising patient care. This role combines clinical expertise with financial analysis to support formulary management, improve medication use policies, and reduce overall healthcare costs. Maintains professional and productive relationships with DOC personnel.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Valid State Pharmacist’s License in good standing
  • Completion of PGY 1 and Pharmacy Residency preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Good deductive reasoning and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance objectives of quality and accuracy with reasonable level of efficiency
  • Computer skills including data analysis, report writing, and spreadsheet development
  • High professional ethics and standards
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to change
