We are seeking a passionate and driven Human Resources (Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion) Intern to support our efforts in fostering an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment for employees and stakeholders. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to impactful D&I initiatives while developing skills in communication, project management, and data analysis. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Global HR/People Team by contributing to various HR initiatives and projects related to our People Agenda.

The successful candidate will support our culture change, diversity & inclusion and engagement initiatives and campaigns to further engage our people. They will promote HR and D&I initiatives to support HR/People activity at global level, aimed at spreading our Dedalus culture and values. They will be a part of the HR/People Team, reporting into the Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion Manager, but also collaborate with the local HR teams across the globe to develop projects that drive engagement, D&I. We need someone who will bring new creative and innovative ideas to the team which can engage our colleagues!

Key Responsibilities

D&I Strategy and Project Support:

  • Support the Global Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion with the D&I Strategy and its alignment to ESG indicators and targets.
  • Help plan, coordinate, and execute D&I events, workshops, and awareness campaigns including management of all awareness days e.g. International Women’s Day, Black History Month, Pride Month etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams e.g. HR, MarCom etc. to promote initiatives that celebrate diversity and foster belonging.
  • Support employee resources, education and learning in relation to engagement, D&I.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives for our Dedalus colleagues.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Create engaging content for people-newsletters, presentations, internal social platforms and external social media to highlight engagement and D&I initiatives.
  • Support the development of materials for training programs and diversity-related meetings.
  • Work with our D&I Communities to align goals and amplify their impact across Dedalus e.g. events and campaigns.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure D&I efforts are integrated across departments

Project Updates & Improvement:

  • Conduct research on best practices, trends, and policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Maintain and update D&I programme documentation and resources.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings, webinars, and other related activities

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant discipline can be a plus but is not required.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (C1 level).
  • Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion with a desire to create meaningful change.
  • Ability to confidently manage multiple projects and meet a range of deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills including writing and editing skills, with a view of aligning to Dedalus branding guidance.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Genuine passion for communication, engagement, Diversity & Inclusion and people.
  • An understanding of global cultures and the ability to create content that resonates with a diverse, global audience.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Positive mindset, curiosity, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
