Are you a skilled psychiatrist looking to make a significant impact within a progressive mental health service?

Step into a role where your expertise will directly impact lives. As a Consultant Psychiatrist at EACH, you'll be integral to our multidisciplinary team, operating within a well-established clinical governance framework. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality clinical consultancy and working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert secondary clinical consultation to mental health clinicians, including diagnostic clarification, case formulation, and treatment recommendations
  • Conduct primary assessments and provide expert psychiatric assessment, formulation, and management
  • Liaise with Public Mental Health Services and other providers to assist clients in navigating their service pathways
  • Collaborate with the Team Manager, Senior Clinical Coordinators, and Clinical Lead to ensure integrated, evidence-based clinical care

About you
You possess a wealth of qualifications, skills, and expertise, including:

  • A medical degree and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
  • Advanced clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, risk management, and treatment provision
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Expertise in service development and a thorough understanding of National Standards for Mental Health Services and relevant legislation
  • A proven track record in working with diverse and vulnerable populations, including those with physical health, sexual health, mental health, and AOD presentations
