Job Description:
In this role you will be responsible for managing precisely planned deployments, updates and patch installations to a satisfactory resolution.
You will coordinate and execute installations and deployments remotely for hype converged solutions, storage platforms and operating systems. On receipt of a service request the Remote Deployment Service Engineer manages the timeline, prerequisites, execution plan and all related details for the service request.
You will frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods. RDSE works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. You will exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. You may provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
How you'll make your mark:
- Perform scheduled activities for customers including deployments, upgrades, vCenter migrations, and capacity balancing on Hyper Converged Infrastructure.

- Respond to service, product, technical and customer relations questions on subjects such as planning, deployment, upgrade, features, specifications.
- Engages team members for support as required to ensure internal or external business and end user Service Level Agreements (SLA) demands are met.
- Creative and imaginative in developing customer solutions alone or as part of a team.
- Escalates issues, problems, risks, and constraints to the appropriate parties for clarification and resolution.
- Collaboration with the project stakeholders detailed project plans and work breakdown structures.
- Assess technical impact of specific activities and provide feedback for process improvements
- Promote a culture of service delivery excellence
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in technical support/ remote deployment
- Enterprise Product support/field experience
- Servers (ProLiant, Synergy, Apollo, Blade Servers, Moonshot) or Storage (StoreOnce, MSL, MSA, SAN Switches)
- Guest OS knowledge (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V)
- Very good command of English and Polish (verbal & written)
- Another foreign language is considered as advantage.
- Ability to properly maintain technical documentation.
- Customer oriented, courteous, assertive, and motivated to take charge of both customer engagement and problem resolution.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Time management skills and working with tough deadlines.
- Readiness for working at flexible working time.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and ability to prioritize.
- Experience with SFDC/ PSA will be considered as advantage.
