Data Center Category Sourcing Manager
Supply Chain Procurement (RFP/RFQ)

Iron Mountain Data Centers is looking for a procurement professional to assume responsibility for sourcing mission critical data center equipment. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating competitive bids, RFP, RFQ, RFI and other sourcing related activities. The Category Sourcing Manager will analyze market trends and make business recommendations based on lead time, cost and quality. This ideal candidate will develop category specific sourcing strategies to align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing activities supporting critical construction projects

• Develop, implement, and manage sourcing strategies on a global scale

• Align sourcing strategies with Supply Chain counterpart to support continuity of supply efforts

• Identify and onboard new suppliers to drive competition and supply chain resiliency

• Negotiate and execute master framework agreements with suppliers

• Create and implement process workflows with a focus on cycle time reduction

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

• 3+ years of experience in Category Sourcing Management or related field

• Experience with RFx and competitive bid sourcing

• Experienced in developing and implementing standard operating procedures, process documents and workflows

• Proficient in gathering metrics and creating reports for business stakeholders

• Exhibits problem-solving skills, makes business recommendations and able to thrive in an ambiguous work environment

• Experience in data center or infrastructure service provider a plus
