Overview

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organised individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. The business you will be working for is a market-leader in filtration and are looking for a UK BDM / Sales Manager to drive the new business efforts in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Target New Markets: Research and analyse market trends to identify potential new business opportunities within the UK.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies to reach and engage potential clients.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Establish strong relationships with new clients and maintain ongoing communication to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead Generation: Utilise various methods such as networking, cold calling, and digital marketing to generate leads and convert them into sales.
  • Sales Presentations and Pitches: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, forecast future sales, and report on key metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts and maximise business development opportunities.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close deals and secure new business.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to stay competitive in the market.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering is beneficial.
