⚡ Your Mission as Assistant Accountant:

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes across Ancient Gaming’s brands and entities. This includes managing Accounts Payable, performing account reconciliations, assisting with financial analysis, supporting audits, and maintaining accurate records within the general ledger. You’ll also contribute to budget tracking, accounting system improvements, software integration and ad-hoc projects, helping enhance the overall efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations.


You will be working on:

  • CSGORoll — the world’s #1 skin gaming site. A community social gaming platform specifically designed for CS2 players, featuring unique in-house custom-built games, such as Roulette, Crash, Unboxing, and PVP.
  • HypeDrop — a leading gamified shopping platform, where over 500,000 users experience the excitement of real-time mystery box openings, box battles, and customizable deals. Since 2018, HypeDrop has sold over 150 million boxes, revolutionizing the way people shop and win.


You will:

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and provide support for other company’s brands, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Process invoices, validate payment details, schedule disbursements, and reconcile transactions for a seamless payment run.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and maintain AP records in line with company policies.
  • Perform reconciliations for Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and other financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including preparation of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support financial analysis activities, providing insights and ensuring data accuracy for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting queries and streamline processes.
  • Help track budgets and monitor financial performance to meet company goals.
  • Contribute to audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests.
  • Participate in accounting software integration and enhancement projects to improve financial systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and other administrative tasks to support strategic decision-making and provide actionable insights into company performance.


You will excel in this role if you possess:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A Higher National Diploma or equivalent in Accounting & Finance
  • A strong attention to detail, ensuring all financial records and processes are precise and accurate.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and drive resolution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting tools and systems. (knowledge of Xero Accounting Software would be an advantage)
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to learning and improving financial processes to contribute to personal and organizational success.
