Virtual Medical Scribe (Live Scribe)

BizForce is on the lookout for a talented Virtual Medical Scribe (Live Scribe) to join our expanding healthcare team, MedCore Solutions. In this role, you will document medical visits and provide essential support to healthcare providers during patient consultations in real-time. This remote position offers you the flexibility to work from home while playing a vital role in enhancing patient care through accurate and efficient documentation. Core Responsibilities:

• Attend medical consultations virtually and document patient encounters including medical histories, symptoms, and treatment recommendations in real-time
• Work closely with healthcare providers to understand and capture detailed and accurate notes
• Ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
• Revise and finalize notes as needed to maintain clarity and completeness
• Multitask effectively to manage note-taking while actively listening to patient interactions
• Facilitate seamless communication between patients and providers through exceptional documentation skills

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Scribe or in a related healthcare documentation role
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
• Exceptional listening skills and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related documentation software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced virtual environment
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks
• Experience working with various medical specialties is an advantage
• Amenable to working in different time zones or shifts
