This is a remote position.

Our client is a market leader in the UK for commercial lighting connection and control products.

An opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Specification Engineer to join the team, promoting the full and diverse suite of the company's products to M&E Consultants; End Users (e.g. universities, hospitals etc.); Electrical Contractors and Wholesalers in the East Midlands and East Anglia region of England.

The role is to maintain existing business and develop new opportunities, with an emphasis on:

Raising brand awareness and building strong business relationships.
Demonstrating the product portfolio’s features & benefits.
Gaining written specification for the company's products via the M&E Consultant route.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an in depth and up to date knowledge of M&E Consultants, Contractors and electrical wholesalers in the East Midlands and East Anglia area.

Ideally living centrally to the area and having a technical sales background, preferably in the commercial lighting and controls arena.

· Comfortable arranging and holding face to face meetings / demonstrations

· Able to communicate clearly at all levels (audience specific)

· Tenacious / determined

· Confidence, with the ability to (politely) say “No” when the situation dictates

· IT – MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
