Job Description:

Translation & Localization:

  • Translate and localize written content from English to Quebec French, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
  • Review creative assets (i.e. videos, ad banners, PDFs, images, Emails) to ensure clarity and effectiveness.

 

Content Management:

  • Collaborate with the Digital Product Manager to enhance website experiences by troubleshooting content issues.
  • Publish and manage translated content using DotCMS, maintaining consistent and high-quality output across languages.
  • Manage asset libraries and content request ticketing systems (Service Now, DevOps, Transperfect or Smartsheets), ensuring timely updates, and streamlined workflows. Ensure that image assets are also transitioned and aligned with translated content.
  • Work closely with the web development team to integrate new features and resolve any issues with the web interface.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Project Support:

  •   Provide UAT support for content projects and website improvements.
  •   Identify and act on trends, gaps, and opportunities to optimize digital content and solutions.

Training & Collaboration:

  •  Facilitate training and documentation for regional authors to ensure consistent and efficient content publishing practices.
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the latest and most accurate content is available.

Project & Time Management:

  • Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple content projects to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with an English-speaking team during business hours (8 AM – 12 PM CST).

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Quebec French, and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in translation, content management, and publishing. Shortening content for different channels like email while maintaining effectiveness, clarity.
  • Proficiency in authoring and managing content using DotCMS (experience with other CMS platforms like AEM is a plus).
  • Ability to troubleshoot front-end functionality issues and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, especially when handling multiple projects.
  • Certification or training in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Capacity to identify trends and improve content delivery through analytical and strategic thinking.

Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent writing and editing capabilities. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.) is preferable. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Web editing and layout. Photography.
