JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description

As a Shop Manager for Auto Glass Now, you will be responsible for leading store operations, implementing new and creative strategies to ensure profitable site performance and drive standards of excellence.

Reporting to the AGN District Manager, you will be responsible for leading and growing a team of Auto Glass Technicians working in airports, retail locations, or as part of our mobile operations team!

Auto Glass Experience is VALUED but not required!

Some of our most successful shop managers held prior management roles in the restaurant industry, retail industry, and a variety of other businesses.  All candidates must have prior management experience leading people, but no prior Auto Glass EXPERIENCE is necessary!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new crew members.

  • Creating crew schedules & submitting payroll.

  • Controlling inventory with quarterly and yearly inventory counts.

  • Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory.

  • Understanding the shop’s financials and KPIs to drive results and utilize budget wisely.

  • Conducting quarterly employee evaluations.

  • Supporting crew members with daily duties.

  • Helping with day-to-day operations.

  • Providing excellent customer service.

Requirements Auto Glass Now is looking for:

  • Leading or mentoring high performing teams.

  • Using data to analyze business finances and trends then enacting action plans.

  • Prior experience managing costs, expenses, and P&L.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record background check. 

  • Must be whiling to operate a company vehicle, traveling to and from customer locations.

  • Strong customer service skills, communication and business acumen.

  • Must have an intermediate level of computer knowledge.

  • Must have the desire to improve your leadership skills, team building and performance standards.

  • Must have flexible schedule and be whiling to work a minimum of 55 hours, including weekends.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

  • Maneuver in and around vehicles

  • Walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.

  • Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Hot & cold weather conditions if necessary.

  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.

Compensation Range:

$47,900.00 - $87,300.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
