Overview:
BRMi is seeking a Data Lake/Data Warehouse Tester to suport a large financial services client.
The Data Lake/Data Warehouse Tester is a highly skilled QA Tester with experience in ETL/Data Migration testing in Azure Databricks and Synapse ecosystem. They will be proficient in SQL and Databricks. The tester will be responsible for developing and executing test plans and test cases, identifying defects and reporting them to the development team, and ensuring the quality of the data in our data lake and databases.
**Can be 100% remote in TX, NJ, NC, WV, AL, VA, MD, MO, DC, GA, or FL**

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for in ETL/Data Migration testing in Azure Databricks and Synapse.
• Create and maintain test scripts in Python.
• Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
• Identify, analyze and report defects found during testing.
• Validate and verify data accuracy and completeness.
• Drive UAT testing with collaboration by ensuring clear communication and regular feedback
• Participate in project planning and estimation.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
Qualifications:
• Hands on in SQL, Databricks. Nice to have Azure Synapse, PowerBI.
• 3+ years of experience in ETL/Data Migration, Data Lake and Data warehousing Testing.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Experience in a large, enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
