Job description

Immediate need for an Account Manager for a privately held, global specialty chemical company with headquarters in Suwanee, GA (Atlanta). We deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our customers globally in supporting their manufacturing and finished products.  We are looking for a Candidate who is located within a 90 minute commute to Suwanee, GA (Atlanta area) for training and other occasional in office needs.  This is an excellent position for an Entry Level Supply Chain Graduate to learn all aspects of the operation.

Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for taking orders and ensuring that all orders are entered into company systems and fulfilled according to documented processes. This position works with various suppliers and third parties to purchase, ship, clear store and deliver the correct material in accordance with customer specifications.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesEducation & Experience
  • Associate’s degree in supply chain, business or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Internship experience preferred

  • Ability to collaborate and work well in a team; Ability to build rapport and interface with individuals at different levels, both internally and externally
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to adapt communication style for audience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint and Excel, and ability to quickly learn industry-specific software; Ability to work across multiple software platforms
