Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping and accounting for multiple legal entities, including S Corps and LLCs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP standards
  
• Manage US tax-related work for various business structures, staying current with evolving regulations
  
• Play a key role in the financial aspects of acquiring and integrating a small accounting firm
  
• Collaborate with our software development team to create and implement custom accounting solutions
  
• Provide strategic financial insights and reports to guide critical business decisions
  
• Ensure strict compliance with US tax laws and regulations across all business operations
  
• Adapt and optimize accounting processes as the company scales and introduces new technologies
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on US-based companies and tax regulations
  
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, tax laws, and bookkeeping practices for various business structures
  
• Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms and eagerness to learn new systems
  
• Demonstrated experience managing finances for S Corps, LLCs, and holding company structures
  
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage books for several entities simultaneously
  
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with evolving technologies and custom software systems
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance team members
