Sales, Account Manager, Point of Care Ultrasound (Chicago)
Job Description
The Point of Care Ultrasound Account Manager is the key interface between Philips and its customers. You will represent Philips' products and services to the customer while consulting to provide total solutions for their needs. Your expertise will help physicians and clinical staff improve patient care with our cutting-edge solutions.
Your role:
- This is a sales channel that will require knowledgeable and experienced salespeople to drive new Point of Care technology into multiple markets in and out of the hospital through identifying opportunities with existing and potential customers, developing and maintaining relationships with key physicians within the territory, and working closely with the product application specialist for product demonstrations. Having a thorough understanding of customer requirements and providing solutions in a consultative way, collaborating closely with the CV and GI account managers, and creating sales deals that are beneficial to customers and Philips.
- This position works closely with internal and external partners including CV (cardiovascular) and GI (gastrointestinal) account managers, product application specialists, and other POCUS account managers, as well as, collaborating with marketing and customer stakeholders and decisionmakers.
You're the right fit if:
- You have a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in a commissioned field sales role with demonstrable history of quota achievement with medical capital equipment, preferably in Point of Care Ultrasound.
- Your skills include financial selling skills, ability to develop and implement sales strategy in transactional sales environment. Clinical experience is a plus but not required.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
- You are able to travel 70%. This position covers Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $180,500 to $226,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Chicago, IL.
