Position Overview

The VP, Strategy & Transformation is responsible for driving and overseeing strategic transformation initiatives across our Global Operations group. This role will lead the Transformation Office, providing guidance, structure, and direction to cross-functional teams as they implement key initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership, ensuring that transformation efforts deliver measurable value, are aligned with organizational priorities, and are executed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transformation Strategy and Planning:
    • Lead strategic planning process for Global Operations
    • Digital transformation – identify and deploy an enterprise-wide digital transformation program
    • Develop and refine the transformation strategy in alignment with the organization’s vision and goals.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize high-impact transformation initiatives.
    • Establish a transformation roadmap with clear milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Program Leadership and Execution:
    • Oversee and coordinate all transformation initiatives, ensuring they are delivered effectively and produce the intended outcomes.
    • Manage project managers and transformation leads within the Transformation Office, providing guidance, resources, and support as needed.
    • Ensure that all initiatives adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, proactively addressing any obstacles or challenges.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for transformation initiatives, liaising between the Transformation Office and executive leadership.
    • Foster strong stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment and buy-in across departments.
    • Lead change management efforts, including communication plans, training, and support for employees affected by transformation initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Reporting/Analytics – build an enterprise-wide reporting capability that provides stakeholders relevant information on a timely basis
    • Develop and implement performance tracking mechanisms to assess the progress and impact of transformation initiatives.
    • Provide regular updates to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
    • Analyze data and insights to recommend adjustments to transformation initiatives where needed.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build and mentor a high-performing team within the Transformation Office.
    • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
    • Support team members in developing their skills and expertise in transformation and project management.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in transformation, change management, or business operations.
    • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs within complex organizations.
    • Experience working directly with senior leadership and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Demonstrated expertise in change management and organizational transformation.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

159,800 CAD

Maximum :

253,500 CAD
