The Opportunity 

As the go-to specialist on App Store capabilities within the Digital Sales + Growth team, this person will drive commerce motions for our highest priority apps at Adobe. Knowing standard mobile app development methods and revenue generation strategies is key as GTM works with internal teams at Adobe to lead complex projects that improve customer experiences, boost new user success, and improve customer retention. 

This team provides business critical insights, ensures consensus on goals, and helps teams drive critical initiatives forward globally. We work cross-functionally to define our customer journey requirements across demand creation and app store monetization to increase long term user value and business growth. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense for how to get things done, through positive relationships across the organization. 

 

What you'll do 

  • App Store Partnerships: 

  • Support day-to-day partnerships between Adobe and and App Store platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, etc.). 

  • Collaborate with app store partners to find opportunities for featuring, promotion, and co-marketing initiatives. 

  • Be an evangelist across Adobe for app store policy updates, program changes, and emerging trends to ensure alignment with Adobe's mobile strategy. 

  • Technical Best Practices: 

  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure app development aligns with app store guidelines and technical requirements. 

  • Stay informed about the latest app store technologies and development best practices to guide the implementation of new features and functionalities. 

  • Commerce Strategy & Program Management: 

  • Manage development process for the implementation of new commerce functionalities within our flagship mobile apps. 

  • Manage the roadmap and execution of commerce-related projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and app store policies.

What you'll need to succeed 

  • 10+ years of experience in mobile app partnerships, business development, or a related field. 

  • Proven track record of success in building and managing relationships with app store platforms. 

  • Deeper understanding in mobile app development processes and mobile app stores landscape. 

  • Excellent program management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. 

  • Experience working in global teams + mindset 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $141,200 -- $249,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
