The Job:  

As an Sr. Channel Manager you’ll be part of our Channel Marketing team as a remote employee. You’ll get to:  

  • Direct and coordinate strategic marketing activities to achieve operating plans for the business; you’ll have overall responsibility for the profitability, promotion, pricing, merchandising and new product plans.

  • Lead cross-functional work with Commercial, Product, Brand, Supply Chain and Finance teams to develop strategic growth initiatives, including product, online merchandising, and promotion strategies.

  • Present new products, merchandising, and promotional strategies and successfully execute market communication plans and new product launches.

  • Review brand and merchandising messaging and tactics to make sure they comply with overall channel strategy and make recommendations on improvements for a better customer experience.

  • Analyze and track POS, inventory, market share, and competitive landscapes; track program/promotional effectiveness and develop and execute changes and improvements, as required.

  • Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to manage listings, maximizing sales and profitability via mix management, promotional opportunities, and pricing actions.

  • Independently makes sound business decisions to drive top and bottom lines, driven by a holistic understanding of the channel P&L.

  • Provide regular guidance to less experienced team members and lead high-impact activities and projects across the broader channel team.

The Person:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of Product, Sales and/or Marketing experience within the Retail space with a record of demonstrated achievement in sales growth and margin accretion.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a deep understanding of key business and financial metrics such as Sales, Gross Margins, Operating Margins, Inventory Turns, etc.

  • Project management, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated success communicating effectively with all levels of the business.

  • Experience navigating a complex organization and changing priorities and while exercising attention to detail; ability to manage deadlines and focus on high-impact work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

  • Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite and other ERP Systems (SAP, BW, Salesforce, etc.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $91,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
