Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retirement Plan Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of pension plan administration, including data reconciliation, plan testing, and participant account management. You will work closely with clients to ensure the accuracy of census data, process participant loans and distributions, and prepare required reports and plan documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
PENSION ADMINISTRATION
Receiving and reviewing census spreadsheets from clients for accuracy; importing and exporting data into FT William’s pension systems
Calculate eligibility, run contribution allocations, verify vesting
Reconciliation of participant accounts, import contributions, distributions, gains/losses and fees
Complete plan testing reports including ADP/ACP, cross-tested, top-heavy, etc
Prepare Form 5500 and related schedules, valuation reports, plan documents, participant notices (Safe Harbor, QDIA, fee disclosures, etc)
Process participant loans and distributions through various recordkeepers
GENERAL ADMININSTRATION
Answer inbound phone calls from client participants - generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
Complete client and participant mailings
Coordinate the preparation of correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences
Assist other departments with projects
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
Experience using Microsoft Office, to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF programs desired
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent customer service skills
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Strong work ethic, productivity and professionalism
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
