Title: Senior Director, Analytics
Direct Manager Title: SVP, Analytics

The Role 
The Senior Director, Analytics will play a key role leading the ongoing analytics development within a rapidly-growing full-service healthcare agency.  The Senior Director, Analytics is responsible for developing and fulfilling key analytic deliverables for the agency and working across client service teams.  This person works with other analytics team members to identify appropriate analytics approaches, data elements, and designs and guides the delivery of analysis and insights to internal teams and external clients using consumable stories. This person identifies campaign and audience insights that are foundational to the delivery of data-driven marketing programs, provides key intelligence across healthcare clients, and help teams identify and execute on impactful insights and trends. This person supports key program areas, including: campaign performance insights and dashboards, audience and market research, and segmentation. The Senior Director, Analytics interacts internally with the Unlock Account Management, MarTech, and Marketing Operations teams to execute initiatives and programs, and interact directly with clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the ongoing evolution of client campaign insights generation through dashboards and reports
  • Guide a team of analysts in interpreting data trends or patterns to address key client and industry questions
  • Deliver and present client solutions to clients
  • Provide strategic intelligence for new business efforts and deliver in pitches
  • Mine and analyze relevant data to inform strategy at the outset of projects
  • Work with the Unlock Data Platform team to create and train clients teams on reusable tools use
  • Lead the development and use of a variety of analytic techniques and uses, such as:
    • Dashboard development reflecting time series data analysis
    • Univariate and multivariate analysis
    • Regression modeling
    • Classification modeling
    • Forecasting
  • Develop analytical plans that properly use technologies, methodologies, and techniques to develop client recommendations and solutions
  • Interact with and support needs in internal agency departments: Strategy, MarTech & MarOps, and Managed Care as requested
  • Assist in the education of agency staff on the discipline of data & analytics uses and approaches, and help them consume analytic effort results, either as tools, or in their work
  • Scope work activities and develop estimates of work with account teams

Ideal Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in healthcare consulting and analytics, with experience building analytic solution and performing analysis with those solutions
  • Significant experience using common analytic solutions platforms and software, including SQL, R, Python, and BI Tools (such as Tableau, Looker, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, etc.)
  • Familiar with data tools such as Simmons, MRI, Mosaic, NRC, and Alteryx
  • Experience architecting data structures for analytic efforts
  • Familiar with digital Analytics Tools, including:
    • Web Analytics - Google Analytics 4, Adobe Omniture
    • SEO/SEM Tools – SEMRush, Moz
  • Ability to build and pull reporting in platforms such as:
    • CRM - Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics
    • MAP - Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo, etc.
    • ESP - Mailchimp, Emma, etc.
    • Call Tracking Systems
  • Ability to quickly learn and grasp new tools
  • Ability to present data visually and verbally to internal teams and clients
  • Prior personnel management experience
  • Knowledge of full funnel marketing tactics and purposes
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interpersonal skills to interface with team members throughout agency
  • Ability to turn general questions into specific data-driven answers
  • Passion to continually absorb, learn, evolve and teach in the fast-changing marketing/analytics space
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Consulting experience required
