EXPERIENCE: Minimum 4 years experience with Native advertising. Proficiency in data analysis and making campaign decisions based on your own analysis. At a minimum, expertise with Taboola or Outbrain
YOUR ROLE
You will contribute to and eventually own our Native media buying efforts (Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent, and more) for multiple brands within Launch Potato’s portfolio of companies. Your expertise in pairing creative media with ROAS KPIs and direct-to-consumer (DTC) data analysis will positively influence more than 10 million new customers to unlock their financial potential. This position is an opportunity to manage a tremendous Native Advertising budget across many verticals and brands.
(This role will NOT support Social Media Buying, it will purely focus on scaling our Native Media Buying efforts and your profile needs to reflect this)
You’ll support the User Acquisition team with processes, reporting, and operations, while gaining hands-on experience with LP and our brands, with a path toward P&L ownership. Ideally, you will become the strategic owner of our Native advertising efforts. You need to be someone who has an analytic mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, and an impeccable eye for detail. You’re not afraid to think outside the box and have a hunger for testing.
SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Tactically plan, strategize, launch, and scale campaigns across platforms and verticals using various ad formats
- Manage high budget native media campaigns on ad networks such as Taboola, Outbrain, RevContent, and more
- Research, identify, and establish new traffic source opportunities and new ad networks (i.e. MediaGo, MGID, etc.)
- Design compelling ad creatives and winning copy to target specific audiences with a focus on direct response tactics/strategies
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams on optimization, A/B testing, and overall strategy to improve campaign yield and margin
- Contribute to the evolution of Launch Potato’s media buying best practices including creating a native paid media playbook, training team members on native, and more
- Assist with hiring and scaling the paid media team
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 4 years of hands-on experience planning, strategizing, and scaling/optimizing digital media campaigns, with a specialization in paid Native (Taboola, Outbrain, and Revcontent are the priority)
- Possess a deep understanding of direct-response marketing principles and know how to create winning ads to drive engagement
- In-depth knowledge of Native tools and best practices
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.) and data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) with the ability to analyze large sets of data independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to develop cross-department relationships and keep stakeholders informed of campaign performance
