Job description

 

We’re looking for a Programme Lead (Leadership) to join our Bauer Academy Team on a Part-Time Permanent Basis.


As Programme Lead, you will oversee the coordination and delivery of Bauer Academy apprenticeship programmes, focusing on leadership. Acting as the main contact for learners, you will deliver workshops, conduct progress reviews, lead huddles, and prepare learners for end-point assessments. The role involves monitoring progress and using data and feedback to ensure learners achieve their potential.

 

This is a part-time hybrid position where you will work from home and our Peterborough Office.

The Team:

This role reports to Bauer Academy’s Head of Apprenticeship Delivery and works closely with the Head of Programme Performance, Head of Quality and Head of Learning Solutions. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing apprenticeship programmes to meet KPIs at programme and learner levels.
  • Overseeing scheduling, onboarding, and ensuring off-the-job (OTJ) hours and resources are accessible via the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Delivering workshops (online and in-person) to meet quality standards; arrange tutors for specific sessions when required.
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback on coursework, ensuring clear communication.
  • Monitoring assignments, OTJ hours, and attendance, addressing progress issues per Bauer Academy policies.
  • Conducting progress reviews with learners/line managers every 10–12 weeks, documenting all sessions.
  • Ensuring workshop materials are uploaded to the LMS and appropriately filed.
  • Collaborating with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth and timely end-point assessment (EPA) activities.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong knowledge and industry experience in Leadership and Project Management.
  • Teaching qualification preferred but not mandatory; support provided for continuous development.
  • Engaging presenter with experience delivering high-quality training virtually and in person.
  • Excellent time and project management skills; highly organized and adept at multitasking.
  • Familiarity with apprenticeship requirements, including OTJ hours, EPA, and Ofsted (training provided).
  • Strong coaching skills to support learner success and confidence in engaging with learners and managers.
  • High IT literacy, including proficiency with Learner Management Systems and online teaching tools.
