Job description

Company Profile: Headquartered in Raleigh, NC, DickersonBakker has been providing professional fundraising services to nonprofit clients for over 30 years. We have served over a thousand nonprofits across the USA as well as in Canada and several countries overseas. Our Fundraising Solutions division offers a full spectrum of direct response fundraising and marketing services to help our clients grow and improve their major gift fundraising effectiveness, and thereby, achieving transformational mission impact.

Position Description: Serving as the fulcrum between agency departments, team members, freelancers, and outside vendors, the Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to ensure that clients’ campaign deliverables are planned and executed on time, on budget and with the highest level of service and quality.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Managing campaign production schedules.
  • Tracking and executing tasks and deliverables.
  • Effectively maintaining and sharing status updates on deliverables to internal stakeholders.
  • Managing external partner relations and deliverables.
  • Ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders throughout each campaign.
  • Managing costs to budget.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will align well with our corporate culture and core values, and will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five-plus years of experience in project management
  • Three-plus years of marketing/consulting agency experience.
  • Fundamental comprehension of nonprofit, fundraising industry.
  • Solid understanding of creative, print and digital media.
  • Successful track record demonstrating strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy, deadline-driven environments.
  • Maintains and provides steadiness during stressful situations.
  • Possesses the right balance of assertive determination to ensure what is promised gets done on time, and winsomeness to safeguard continuing positive working relationships.
  • Requires minimal supervision is executing requirements of the job.
  • Working in a remote, virtual environment.
  • Has a high level of technical acumen—ideally including experience working with software such as Adobe, Microsoft Office, Asana (or other Project Management software), and CRM/ERP platforms.
