The Ad Operations Coordinator, is responsible for scheduling and executing advertising campaigns on Desktop Web, Tablet web, Mobile web, Mobile & Tablet Apps, platforms for all Pelmorex digital properties including: The Weather Network, MétéoMédia. Along with clients and third-parties, the Ad Operations Coordinator will work closely with internal teams including Creative, Sales and Technical Implementation to successfully launch campaigns, provide inventory forecasting, testing, troubleshooting, QA, and optimize live campaigns. This role will be an expert in executing advertising campaigns through GAM (Google Ad Manager), having in depth knowledge of ad specs, system capabilities, third party tags and the nuances that exist when running campaigns.

WHAT IS THE DAY TO DAY LOOK LIKE
  • Advise Sales with expertise on our digital capabilities for campaign set up in GAM (inventory availability and optimization suggestions)
  • Scheduling and ensuring all campaigns are properly executed as per booking
  • Understanding all formats of creatives such as static (jpgs, gifs, pngs) vs. tags vs. html5 in order to apply and upload all creatives into GAM
  • Perform QA (quality assurance) on campaign set up in GAM before setting live
  • Troubleshooting issues before setting live; including working with creative agencies, third party vendors, and Pelmorex design team. Ensuring all of the assets for each product have been received
  • Testing creative per ad specs and technical specifications
  • Provide proof of set up including; screenshots and test links, along with set up details to AMs/CPs
  • Assist in problem solving with campaign delivery, performance or technical issues while campaign is in flight
  • Monitor and optimize live campaigns to ensure successful performance
  • Proficient in GAM for providing inventory forecasts (pre sale and during)
  • After-hours GAM maintenance, as necessary

    WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE
  • 1-3 years of experience optimizing campaigns, running reports, and trafficking campaigns in Google Ad Manager
  • Strategic thinking for problem solving (proven tactics and capabilities of GAM)
  • Comfortable with Excel and Google sheets
  • Digging deep into issues to help uncover the root
  • Analytical thinking
  • Understand the importance of client satisfaction and service
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and strong time management
  • Thrive in a time sensitive/high pressure environment
  • Experience with identifying technical issues and support
  • Organize workload for efficient territory management
