Well, we love our pets too! That's why are pioneering the pet wellness space, working with nutritionists and vets to produce the highest quality products for our little furry friends 🤗 But we need someone to join the founding team and help take our product to the next step!

Dogs are our best friends, part of the family and even an entry to parenthood for many. During the pandemic millions of families became pet parents for the first time.

Like humans, they experience lots of problems with their health and wellbeing. Unfortunately they can’t talk about it. Navigating healthcare for your dog can sometimes be mind-boggling and solutions can be generic. We are a holistic dog wellness company that offers personalised D2C supplements. We believe dogs are as unique and diverse as humans.

We are on a mission to offer human grade healthcare for our furry friends making pet parenting hassle free and sustainable. We are an early-stage tech startup run by an established founder who has built and exited several businesses and has a strong background in CPG and personalised wellness technology.

The Role

As part of the founding team you will be an instrumental part of shaping the product & business strategy. You will own the tech strategy and manage day-to-day engineering execution. Looking ahead, you will be responsible for helping grow the team and set up the technical capabilities of the business for growth.

Interesting technical challenges include:

Building a digital retail marketplace, with a modular microservice based code base, enabling fast iterative development and experimentation.

Design a secure secure and scalable API integration

Platform integration with multiple best-in-class digital health providers, think about some of the best D2C digital health brands you’ve seen around APIs to expose capabilities to 3rd parties

Responsibilities include

Taking charge of platform development, making key decisions on technical architecture

Delivering the MVP, enabling us to test, iterate and serve our growing membership base

Ensuring the systems architecture and infrastructure is scalable and can support growth

Feeding into product strategy and identifying opportunities to quickly deliver customer value

You will have the following skills

Demonstrated ability to deliver product in a tech startup environment

Confidence over the full stack of web development, preferably Node.js React for frontend and AWS or GCP for infrastructure

Ability to inspire and build a team

Entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility and willingness to work across a range of areas and grittiness to operate in a start-up environment
