You'll be...
  • Leading a growing group of 15+ engineers, split in 2 teams, with one engineering manager each
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineers and teams.
  • Ensuring high psychological safety
  • Partnering with our product and data science teams to establish the roadmap and achieve sustainable throughput while iterating fast
  • Challenging engineers on system design, scope or sequencing to deliver faster while decreasing the technical debt.
  • You are not afraid to dive into a very technical conversation
  • Actively tackling any bottleneck in the system, wherever they are.
  • You will get your hands dirty and help wherever is needed.
  • We are looking for builders.
  • Contributing to the evolution of our architecture, tools, and processes
  • Partnering with other engineering managers on cross-cutting initiatives like hiring or onboarding

  • Proven and reputable experience in software engineering.
  • While this role is not hands-on, you still consider yourself a software engineer at heart and are not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Are passionate about leading a distributed full-stack team, in a fast pace environment.
  • You have managed 15+ reports before, preferably more
  • You provide clarity and make things happen
  • Has an appetite to understand the business in depth and work closely with our internal and external partners to test and release new ideas fast. Have a data-driven mindset.
  • You challenge teams to measure impact and demonstrate added value
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Both verbal and in writing
