Job description

The Role

As the Senior Manager of Retail Marketing for Moderna’s US Commercial team, you will manage the execution of retail marketing strategies while supporting broader retail marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Retail Marketing, you will play a critical role in driving the visibility and impact of Moderna's products in the retail space, working closely with cross-functional teams and external retail partners to ensure consistency and alignment with overall brand and business goals.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Execute and Refine Retail Marketing Strategies: Implement retail marketing initiatives that elevate product awareness and support sales performance across digital, print, and in-store channels.

  • Market and Customer Insights: Conduct targeted market analysis to gather insights into trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, helping refine retail strategies.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and other marketing teams to ensure cohesive and coordinated marketing efforts across all retail touchpoints.

  • Campaign and Budget Management: Develop and manage promotional campaigns, maintaining fiscal responsibility and optimizing marketing spend for maximum impact.

  • Support Sales Enablement: Create and distribute training materials and sales tools to empower the sales team to maximize their effectiveness in the field.

  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to industry regulations and reflect Moderna’s commitment to ethical standards.

  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyze and report on the effectiveness of retail marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to guide adjustments and future strategy.

  • Retail Partnership Management: Develop relationships with retail partners, tailoring marketing approaches to align with their goals and customer engagement strategies.

  • Product Launch Support: Assist in planning and executing marketing activities to support product launches, aligning with retail and brand standards.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 6+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing experience, including at least 1 year in retail pharmacy or retail marketing.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven skills in content development, campaign management, and budget optimization.
