Your role

We are looking for a Middleware Business Analyst based in our (Madrid) office to join our IT Markets team, a key team in our technology ecosystem.

This area is responsible for managing strategic projects for SCIB. You will work with a global scope, providing solutions to all our Santander entities.

‍Your main tasks will be:

  • Codify the functional & user requirements with Tibco suite and certify the developments.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and preproduction environments.
  • Analysis of requirements (collaborating with the client in their definition) and participation in the design of solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers.
  • Providing support focused on the needs of our client.
  • Keep abreast of development best practices and technology trends.

What you’ll bring

You’re sure to fit in if you like technology and are constantly learning about new developments, as well as having an interest in better understanding the risks faced by the Bank. In addition to developing your technical skills, you should also be interested in improving your soft skills

If you think you’ve got what it takes, these are the key skills we’ll be looking for in your CV:

  • Tibco Business Works 5.x and CE.
  • Knowledge of messaging protocols (JMS, MQ, REST,..).
  • Knowledge of message formats (XML, JSON, FIX,….).
  • Agile Methodology: Kanban, Scrum, Jira, Confluence.
  • Java spring, OpenShift, APIs.
  • DevOps: Jenkins, Git, CloudBees, GitHub.
  • High level of proactivity and anticipation.
  • Used to working under pressure.

The following would also be great...

  • Knowledge & experience of AWS & Cloud Architectures
  • Financial product knowledge
