Position Summary:

As we continue to grow our Digital Experience business in the ANZ market, we are looking for a Senior Director of Digital Experience (DX) Industry Sales reporting into the Managing Director of ANZ. The role will be responsible for consistently growing revenue for the DX business within large complex customers throughout the country and across a variety of industries.

The individual will lead a sales organization that will work seamlessly in a matrixed environment to ensure alignment on overall go to market goals and objectives, from country to corporate level. This leader has a proven track record of growing existing businesses and leverage key customer relationships to identify and unlock new market opportunities. In addition the successful candidate will have a strong, trusted network the biggest brands in ANZ, and ideally, within the digital marketing domain!

The Sr. Director responsibilities include:
 

Growth and Retention:

  • Serve as the primary contact and lead for all DX Industry engagements across ANZ.

  • Align with executive leadership and key partners to define differentiated offerings and go-to-market strategies.

  • Lead a sustainable revenue strategy that consistently meets or exceeds targets.

  • Identify, unlock, grow, and accelerate revenue opportunities within key accounts, including cross-pollination of Digital Media opportunities in a #OneAdobe approach.


Operational Excellence:

  • Challenge the status quo and demonstrate operational excellence.

  • Optimize day-to-day sales activities for maximum revenue conversion.

  • Lead annual strategy planning for sales and ecosystem teams, including account segmentation, territory assignment, financial targets, quotas, compensation plans, organisational design, and capacity modeling.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise commercial opportunities and identify areas for improvement.

  • Communicate clearly and escalate important issues promptly.

  • Develop and implement improved business processes to optimise sales productivity and customer engagement.

Employee Success:

  • Lead a team of experienced Industry Sales Leaders.

  • Recruit, inspire, lead, mentor, and motivate the sales organization to capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Role model company values and Adobe For All principles.

  • Foster a hybrid and flexible work environment to build meaningful team connections.

  • Set and review key performance indicators aligned with quarterly commission plans, and conduct quarterly check-ins.

Other requirements:

  • Exceptional sales instincts to fine-tune a sales engine for predictability, linearity, and high performance.

  • Proven success in bringing in new business and optimising existing opportunities.

  • Excellent people leadership skills to influence and drive accountability.

  • Strong internal network and support, with the ability to navigate and 'get things done.'

  • Experience in communicating clear value propositions to executives and business owners.

  • Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills to manage change within a complex regional matrix organisation.

  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of using data to make informed decisions related to sales and business performance.
