The Opportunity 

We are searching for a leader to build our North America Document Cloud Field Sales Organization. You will lead a group of front-line sales executives (individual contributors) to achieve sales targets. You will be a pivotal leader in the Global Growth Organization, selling into the Mid-Market and Strategic customer segments within our global Digital Media Field and Support Organization. You will hire, enable, inspire, and manage your team to engage and grow our customer footprint and acquire net new clients across Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Sign. You will partner closely with customer-facing leaders in Product Success, Inside Sales, as well as Operations, Marketing and Product. This leader will be responsible for the planning and execution of running a fast-paced and competitive field sales organization including hiring, enablement, coaching, and execution of the sale customer journey.

What You'll Do 

  • Define the sales strategy to deliver achievement of sales targets across a team of roughly 9 sellers

  • Determine the big bets where you will invest your outbound strategies to gain the biggest traction toward revenue metrics

  • Build out your team with proficient account executives, and self-reliant contributors

  • Hire, empower, mentor, coach, and train to increase the efficacy of front-line account executives (individual contributors) in your given territory

  • Partner with Senior Leaders across Inside Sales, On-Boarding, Support, Operations, and Product Marketing teams to drive financial contributions and seamless customer experience

  • Ability to provide critical feedback and coach your front-line account executives to support growth within the organization

  • Ability to provide critical feedback to Senior Leaders to support growth within the organization

  • Being your authentic self and upholding strong people values to ensure your team has a safe place to ensure authenticity

Sales Expertise

  • Lead the highest level of strategic deals with C-Level executives

  • Experience navigating lengthy and complex sales cycles using a value-based selling methodology

  • Lead target setting and weekly deal reporting

  • Direct day-to-day activities to ensure the successful attainment of sales quotas and management objectives

  • Be responsible for a strong operational rigor around pipeline and activities to drive maximum team efficiency and performance

  • Experience navigating lengthy and complex sales cycles using a value-based selling methodology

What you need to succeed 

  • Preferred 3+ years of successful sales leadership, preferably in B2B software

  • Shown success in penetrating new markets and customer acquisition

  • Consistent achievement of quota

  • Strong people leadership including driving inclusion, enthusiasm, and authenticity

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

  • Prior experience with MS Office Suite, CRM solutions such as Salesforce.com, and sales prospecting tools

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $158,900 -- $307,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
