Associate - TechOps Engineer

Primary Functions: • Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure • Passionate about troubleshooting, debugging, and automation • Will be required to work in a team environment with much collaboration • May need to aggressively learn new skills to keep up with cutting edge technologies and evolving skill sets • Create and update documentation as needed • Respond to alerts and outages; participate in periodic 24x7 on-call schedule • Provide top notch, responsive customer service to clients

Job Qualifications: The qualifications we are looking for are mixture of work experience and educational background. They are split into Minimum Qualifications (must have) and Additional Qualifications (nice to have) along with soft skills (competencies) needed for the role: Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s /Master degree • 5 years of working experience of AWS cloud infrastructure. Also good to have experience in Compute, Storage and Network, RDS. • AWS certification required. • Experience in building and deploying application in Docker containers (containerization, orchestration) • Experience in CI/CD tools. • Working experience configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience with Terraform IaC. • Experience with Linux OS.

• Working experience of automation at many levels including infrastructure, build, configuration, testing, deployment • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with others and work in an Agile / Scrum environment • Desire to broaden skill set on wide variety of tool sets, High availability, DR and performance. Notes: • Cloud Management: Understand configuration and different environments in the UI. Manage applications not covered by AWS. • Docker: Build and deploy applications in Docker containers. • Consul: Use for monitoring and configuration (Consul KV). Set up and deploy with HashiCorp tools.. • Microservices: Knowledge of Flink, Kafka, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, HealthLake, Lake Formation, Amazon RDS, and Athena. • User Roles and Permissions: Manage user roles and permissions effectively. • Database Experience: Strong database management skills. • SDLC Awareness: Understand the Software Development Life Cycle and be able to deploy applications to AWS. Additional Qualifications: • Experience with scripting or development languages like NodeJS and Python is a plus.
