Job Title: HOKA GTM Associate Manager –Sporting Specialty

Reports to:  Sr. US GTM Manager – Strategic Accounts, HOKA

Location:  U.S. Remote

The US GTM Associate Manager plays an important role in helping oversee the successful completion of projects and deliverables tied to strategic wholesale opportunities at HOKA, focusing on reaching and engaging with new and existing consumers. As the main point of contact with the HOKA marketing team, this individual will own and manage the creation of a marketing strategy and calendar with key sporting specialty accounts including but not limited to Fleet Feet. This individual will work collaboratively with corresponding Sales, Creative, Field Experience Team, Brand Communications, and entirety of the US Marketing team to bring this to market in the US. Relationship building, business management, data analysis and reporting are skills key to this role for building long term brand health and loyalty with consumers and accounts.

A strong candidate for this role is extremely organized, competitive, detail oriented, and operationally minded, and is an independent self-starter who will fearlessly lean into unfamiliar situations to learn new information and pose solutions for efficiency and productivity. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate for the brand’s interest including the capacity to engage in challenging discussions both internally and externally on ideas and programming. This role is extremely valuable to the success of the entire Marketing Team, and strong communication, analysis and attention to detail will ensure that the role supports and progresses the business.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • 1. Build and execute marketing initiatives as a part of the strategic wholesale strategy with internal HOKA team. This includes owning the timeline and facilitating the creation and approval of marketing assets and deliverables between teams alongside the HOKA Sales, Field Experience Leadership, and Sr. US GTM Manager.
  • 2. Collaborate with sales and marketing personnel on the strategy, development, budgeting, and execution of contracts tied to paid media, in-store, and in-person events as a part of the US GTM co-op marketing investment and seasonal initiatives.
  • 3. Working closely with the HOKA Sr. US GTM Manager, develop and lead presentations for key meetings with strategic accounts that align the account with HOKA brand strategy, shares learnings of prior plans, and sets the tone for partnership recommendations.
  • 4. Track and monitor custom projects, campaigns and initiatives to assess effectiveness and continuously evaluate, communicate, and recommend optimizations and improvements with HOKA stakeholders. Do so within a monthly and fiscal budget to prioritize and execute marketing initiatives with trade partners.
  • 5. Perform retail visits and attend relevant marketing events and opportunities around the country while gaining insights and market research to influence future opportunities.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years related marketing experience in one or more of the following areas: Wholesale Marketing, Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, eCommerce Marketing
  • Experience with large retailer wholesale environment both digital and in-store, including experience leading projects
  • Excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable in current trends in fitness/running/outdoor industry
  • Footwear industry experience
  • Previous experience organizing and supporting and executing marketing initiatives wholesale GTM initiatives with a Fleet Feet and/or big box equivalent account is a plus

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
