Job description

F&G is looking to hire for a Sr. Vendor Management Analyst

This position will serve as a subject matter expert for the Vendor Management team (VM). This position will report to the Director of Vendor Management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for VM, which will include supporting vendor onboarding, monitoring and performance management, and completing other appropriate vendor governance activities.
  • Act as a point of advice, support and guidance to departments and individuals for collaborating with VM.
  • Assist with process improvement and updates to VM processes, including within the VM platform.
  • Manage the new vendor onboarding process, collaborating with IT Security, Cybersecurity, and other teams to ensure compliance with requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and maintain end to end data in VM system and reporting tools to deliver timely and accurate reports in line with the baseline reporting routine.
  • Assist in developing vendor segmentation model, and leverage as part of vendor performance management best practices.
  • Perform periodic reviews on existing vendors to identify and escalate issues in order to mitigate vendor risk
  • Drive and influence data quality, proactively identifying any issues and solutions.
  • Support training and coaching users on how to partner with VM, including vendor review, issue management, and relationship management best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams regarding VM configuration and structure based on best practices.
  • Monitor outstanding tasks to ensure they are being addressed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of vendor SLA/KPI capture, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist in communication with vendor relationship managers
  • Assist with vendor scorecard compilation, synthesize vendor feedback for reporting

Experience and Education Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with vendor management functions and processes
  • Prior experience in reviewing and editing vendor contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, etc.
  • Familiarity with overall vendor lifecycle, and vendor management best practices within each phase.  
  • Experience with implementing and learning new software platform into established work environment preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience with Coupa preferred

  • Applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet internal clients' needs.
  • Is comfortable working with ambiguity or unknowns as the VM continues to build out processes and procedures.
