Job description

Shift: Day shift 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Salt Lake City, UT Office- Hybrid Workspace 

No nights! No weekends!  

Education:  

 Graduation/Diploma in computer science or related work experience   
 
Technical Key Skills:  

  • 2-4 years of overall experience in providing IT helpdesk remote support, expert in troubleshooting and resolving tickets.  
  • Knowledge on troubleshooting operating systems - Windows and MacOS.  
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP  
  • Expertise on troubleshooting MS office, Office 365 
  • Expertise on desktop hardware troubleshooting  
  • Experience on Phone Systems and AV hardware 
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts  
  • Experience in installation & configuration of Windows and MacOS machines 
  • Experience in configuring & troubleshooting Printers and Scanners  
 
Non-Technical Skills:  
  • Excellent English Communication and Intrapersonal skills  
  • Prior knowledge of helpdesk ITIL processes, knowledge, and tools a plus  
  • Be able to travel to the office 3-5 days a week 
 
Roles & Responsibility:  
  • Provide remote support to US/ India based users for desktop, laptops, accessories, devices, upgrades, and applications  
  • Provide 1st level IT helpdesk support, submission of tickets, troubleshooting issues, assigning ticket to appropriate support group if required and following escalation process  
  • Monitor helpdesk queue and ensure all incidents are resolved within SLA  
  • Follow up with users to ensure closure of all incidents to their satisfaction  
  • Be in a position to perform activities listed under technical skills
