OVERVIEW (WHAT YOU’LL DO) 


The Project Manager III is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing complex, high-impact projects for CCBX, our BaaS division. This role involves strategic planning, resource management and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE (HOW YOU’LL DO IT) 

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams. Manage the project's entire lifecycle from initiation to completion.  
  • Develop and implement project strategies, plans and objectives to include Gantt charts and timelines, ensuring the team is organized and focused on the right work.  
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify risks or dependencies early and throughout the project lifecycle and create mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.  
  • Lead weekly project meetings to gather feedback from stakeholder actions, generate documentation, and perform incremental task planning. 
  • Mange project budgets, resources and stakeholder expectations. Provide strategic guidance to project teams. 
  • Act as a central point of contact and communication between all stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and alignment around project goals.  
  • Communicate project progress and outcomes to senior leadership. Track and report on project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.  
  • Facilitate the decision-making process on all CCBX projects with functional teams and leadership. Ensure all projects are in a continuous forward-moving position.  
  • Support a wide range of projects such as helping automate our critical bank processes, leveling-up our data platform and supporting the team as we develop new API products and features for our fintech customers. 
  • Work with management, key stakeholders and customers to refine the Coastal way of project management & tracking from required documentations to tool and resource development. 
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of the rules and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, OFAC, Regulation E, Truth in Lending Act, Truth In Savings Act and Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP).

  • Proven history of delivering projects on time and within scope. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 

  • 8+ years of project management experience in banking, fintech or SaaS based technology company is required.  
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification and/or Lean/Six Sigma Belt preferred. 
  • Strong understanding and experience with multiple project management principles and methodologies is required.  
  • Experience with Agile methods preferred. 
  • Extensive experience with project management software, tools and best practices. 
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects successfully.
