Sales Executive, Functional Fabric Fair

About our Team

The Functional Fabric Fair (FFF) has become the premier North American B2B event for Outdoor and Performance textiles. It champions supply chain sustainability, celebrates the newest innovation in textile engineering, and gathers the whole industry together for collaborative efforts to continue progressing the outdoor and performance apparel world.

About the Role

Working closely with the FFF Sales Manager, you will drive exhibitor sales and for the US and Canadian territory. Key growth segments are focused on unique innovation, high sustainability, and the promotion of US textile suppliers at the show. Responsibilities include managing existing accounts and prospecting new exhibitor leads specific to the US territory. You will also work with support teams to identify sponsorship and activation opportunities.
 

Responsibilities

  • Being able to manage a sales territory. Prioritizing key sales initiatives such as digital offerings and identifying high potential accounts is also key.

  • Demonstrating high level of attention to detail with systems and Salesforce pipeline management

  • Identifying growth opportunities within territory and collaborating with sales/sponsorship teams to reach and exceed targets

  • Attending and prospecting competitive shows, including preparing recap reports in an accurate and timely manner

  • Working with FFF Sales Manager to develop exhibitor retention strategies, improving customer experience and driving exhibitor value

  • Maintaining high awareness of industry trends, growth opportunities and other relevant market updates.


Requirements

  • Have B2B Sales experience

  • Demonstrate Salesforce competency

  • Have interest in or knowledge of the outdoor and performance apparel industry

  • Demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Possess excellent relationship building skills

  • Be able to travel, extensively at times
