Job description

Partner Product Marketing Manager

As the Partner Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for positioning and messaging Billtrust value to strategic partners as well as articulating and promoting the value of professional services to customers. Your role will focus on ensuring that the value of our offerings meet the needs of these key stakeholders, while also aligning with our broader product and corporate marketing strategies. You will collaborate closely with internal partner teams, professional services, product marketing, and product management teams to develop and deliver compelling partner and professional services messaging, positioning, and content.

In this role, your experience in product marketing and strategic alliances, combined with a deep understanding of finance and accounts receivable, will be critical to ensuring that our messages communicate the unique challenges faced by finance professionals. You’ll work to define and communicate our value proposition, develop partner enablement programs, and ensure successful product adoption through partners and professional services teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for our partner ecosystem and professional services offerings. This includes defining target segments, positioning, messaging, and creating tools and resources to empower partners.
  • Partner Enablement: Create and maintain partner-facing content such as product briefs, sales decks, case studies, competitive comparisons, and value propositions. Deliver product training and enablement programs to partners and professional services teams.
  • Market Research & Positioning: Conduct market and customer research to understand key pain points within finance and accounts receivable workflows. Use this data to position our products as the ideal solution for financial professionals and service providers.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Partner Success, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and customer needs. Leverage feedback from partners and end users to influence product enhancements and marketing strategies.
  • Content Development: Lead the creation of partner-facing materials such as product documentation, case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, and other content that drives partner education and engagement.
  • Sales & Partner Support: Assist in building and refining sales tools, presentations, and proposals for partners and service providers. Support the sales team in closing deals with partners through tailored content and messaging.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop KPIs and metrics to track the success of partner enablement and product adoption efforts. Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team on campaign performance, product uptake, and partner feedback.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in fintech, finance, and accounts receivable to ensure our product offerings and marketing materials are relevant and innovative.

What You'll Bring:

Experience:

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably within the fintech, finance, or accounts receivable industries.
  • Experience working with partners and professional services teams, including developing enablement programs, messaging, and content.
  • A solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, financial operations, or related fields within the finance industry.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles, including go-to-market strategy, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
  • Ability to translate complex product features into clear, compelling messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in writing and presenting to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, and partner teams to drive alignment and execute strategies.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

 Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Knowledge of financial technologies, particularly accounts receivable or payment processing solutions, is a significant advantage.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to measure and refine marketing strategies.

The expected base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $111,800 annually.

Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our Talent Acquisition team during the interview process.
