What you'll do at Jamf: 

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Analytics Engineer I will provide clean, tested, well documented and well modelled data sets, that will enable analyst and business users alike, via tools like Snowflake and/or Domo.

This role is located within Poland. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland. 

 
What you can expect to do in this role: 

  • Model and build source of truth datasets that are accurate, reliable and stable.
  • Work with analyst and other SMEs from different business units to ensure that raw data is interpreted well.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing transformation flows of dbt models and extend the EDM.
  • Design and implement testing frameworks with an emphasis on data quality.
  • Work on high priority projects around the business ensuring that new development and features are planned for and well captured in data models.
  • Educate and upskill analyst in utilisation of data models and interpretation of data definitions.
  • Create and maintain documentation in the relevant spaces.
  • Contribute to the Data Catalog, to support self service and SSOT analytics.
  • Follow the DataOps framework in the work we do.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or related field (preferred). 
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Snowflake or other SQL based database (Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience building reports and dashboards in a data visualisation tool such as Domo or Tableau (Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience building data models using dbt (Preferred).
  • Able to communicate complex ideas simply and convincingly.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, in an agile environment.
  • Detail oriented, diligent, and methodical in approach.
  • Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following business areas: marketing, finance, sales, product, customer success, customer support orengineering.
  • Listens to stakeholder needs and finds way to deliver well integrated solutions that serve specific needs.
  • Able to interact effectively with co-workers to ensure timely delivery of work.
  • Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees.
  • Experienced in Scrum or Kanban (Preferred).
  • General knowledge of Apple products and SaaS business models (Preferred).
  • Fluency in English language.
