CSCI Consulting is seeking a motivated SharePoint Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions that optimize collaboration, streamline processes, and enhance information management. Key Responsibilities
- SharePoint Solution Development: Assist in the creation, customization, and configuration of SharePoint sites, workflows, and applications to meet business needs and goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Site and Content Management: Support the development and management of SharePoint site collections, lists, libraries, and components to optimize data organization and workflows.
- Automation and Scripting: Utilize PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks, improving workflow efficiency and reducing manual intervention in SharePoint operations.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve SharePoint-related issues, providing technical support and guidance to end-users when needed.
- System Maintenance: Ensure the SharePoint environment remains secure, up-to-date, and running efficiently by adhering to best practices.
- Integration Support: Assist in integrating SharePoint with other enterprise applications and systems to enhance overall functionality.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing SharePoint solutions to ensure they meet performance, usability, and functionality standards.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and provide training to users to ensure effective adoption of SharePoint solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team to achieve project goals and meet business objectives.
- Customer & Vendor Communication: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring clear communication throughout the development lifecycle.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all solutions adhere to established data standards, policies, and SharePoint best practices.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest SharePoint technologies, tools, and methodologies to continually enhance solutions and processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience working with SharePoint or similar platforms.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online, including site components, document libraries, lists, and workflows.
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell for task automation and SharePoint configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, effective SharePoint solutions.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Power Apps, or Power Automate is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SQL Server and web development principles.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SharePoint Designer for customizing workflows and developing solutions.
- Proficiency with Power Apps or Power Automate to enhance and automate SharePoint processes.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and experience managing data queries.
- Experience in integrating SharePoint with other enterprise applications.
- Experience working in large-scale or complex SharePoint environments.
