A results-driven DevOps professional with extensive experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

Specializes in porting workflows and pipelines from GitLab and GitHub to Azure DevOps, with a deep understanding of Azure ecosystem components and Argo CD for continuous deployment.

Adept at collaborating with development teams, streamlining processes, and ensuring robust infrastructure automation.

 

Responsibilities

 

- Assess existing GitLab and GitHub pipelines, identify compatibility challenges, and design migration plans to Azure DevOps.

- Build scalable and reliable Azure DevOps pipelines for code builds, tests, and deployments.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of Argo CD into Kubernetes environments.

- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

- Work with Azure infrastructure teams to integrate and configure Azure services as part of deployment pipelines.

- Implement GitOps best practices using Argo CD to manage application state and deployment across environments.

- Document migration processes, best practices, and operational playbooks.

- Train teams on using Azure DevOps pipelines and managing deployments with Argo CD.

Key Skills

Azure DevOps: Expertise in designing and implementing pipelines, repository management, and migrating CI/CD workflows from GitLab and GitHub to Azure DevOps.

Argo CD: Comprehensive knowledge of deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes environments using Argo CD for GitOps workflows.

Azure Cloud: Strong command over Azure services like AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, and Azure Active Directory.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and Bicep for managing cloud infrastructure.

Kubernetes: Proficiency in deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications in AKS and other Kubernetes clusters.

Scripting & Automation: Advanced skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python to automate infrastructure tasks and workflows.

Version Control: Deep familiarity with Git workflows and integrating repositories across platforms.

Monitoring & Logging: Skilled in setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.

 

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with specific focus on CI/CD pipeline management and cloud infrastructure.

Certifications:

Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305).

Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).

Argo CD-related certifications or demonstrable experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
