We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who plays a critical role in supporting multiple team managers while working under the guidance of the Marketing Director for a successful execution of the group’s event, media and subscription strategies across the Operational Real Estate Investment portfolio; namely the International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF), the Annual Hotel Conference (AHC) and the Resort and Residential Hospitality Forum (R&R), the NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference and the editorial platform, Hospitality Investor.
Questex Hospitality, Operational Real Estate Division. Questex Hospitality is the business intelligence platform for the Hospitality Investment community. We connect buyers and sellers through our editorial platform www.hospitalityinvestor.com as well as run some of the world’s largest Hospitality investment Conferences such as The International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF EMEA), NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference (NYU IHIIC), The Annual Hotel Conference (AHC), The Resort & Residential Hospitality Forum (R&R). We are also launching a new event into Asia in 2024, The International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF Asia).
As our Marketing Coordinator you’ll support Questex’s success by:
- Supports audience and digital marketing managers in execution of the campaigns and activities they own across the portfolio of events and audience engagement
- Updates websites with the latest content and copy, ensuring the websites are optimised for UX and conversion.
- Sets up, tests and executes on segmented emails, social media and advocacy marketing and referral
- Works with internal design team to ensure all marketing communications on all platforms are in alignment with brand positioning.
- Works with COE (Centre of Excellence) performance marketing team to achieve best practice
- Aids sales retention and audience engagement through supporting the fulfilment of sponsor contracts (across website, event app, email, social media and press engagement)
- Travels and attends events and/or meetings as required.
What we will love about your background:
- Proven project management and excellent time management skills are required
- Attention to detail; diligent, proactive, organized, accountable, analytical, highly motivated team player, with strong project management skills
- Quick learner of new technologies, tools and processes with ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth work environment, while managing numerous projects under tight deadlines.
- Preferred experience in HTML, Adobe Photoshop and with marketing automation software or email service providers.
- Strong knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite (specifically excel)
Your Experience and Education include:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a client/customer-facing role preferred
- Strong written and verbal skills
