Job Description

The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for the accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for various North American accounting activities, with a concentration on cash applications to customer accounts and prepaid accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in assisting with the coordination of the month end close process ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the close.
  • Compile and reconcile financial data for month end close.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain support for various balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Excellent understanding and familiarity with GAAP and the ability to apply these principles in practice.
  • Working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices.
  • Broad understanding of internal controls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of SAP.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00
