Senior Network Engineer (IT Contractor)

Purpose of Role: Design and implementation of the Network elements to support the delivery of service and resolution of incident. This will include extensive Azure Networking as well as traditional networking and troubleshooting. Out of hours work will be required to support coordinated change effort.

Key Responsibilities: (key focus areas of the job MAX 4 bullets plus safety first bullet)
· Azure Networking design ownership, deployment and support, including staff coordination.
· Meraki Networking integration, deployment and support.
· Firewall design, deployment and support.
· Operational support for tickets and incidents.
· Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: (key must-haves MAX 4 bullets)
· General Networking – Able to show an in depth understanding of Networking principles.
· Azure Networking – Design, deployment, migration, automation, support and documentation.
· Meraki Networking – Sound experience and understanding of Meraki deployments.
· Firewalling – Solid experience of corporate firewalling, including OT firewalls.
