Middle/Senior Front-End Engineer

As a Front-End Software Engineer, you’ll be migrating legacy AdTech solutions to modern technologies, focusing on ReactJS, Next.js, MUI, GraphQL, and REST APIs, while handling over 500 billion requests daily. Key responsibilities include implementing best practices to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability, designing a composable architecture to support future adaptability, and optimizing Front-end systems. The engineer will also collaborate closely with stakeholders to influence architecture and processes, playing a critical role in shaping the ongoing migration and laying the foundation for the project's future scalability and success.

Our client is a leader in the AdTech industry, managing a global ad exchange with over 500 billion requests per day. 

PROJECT

The primary objective is to transition from legacy Front-end solutions to modern technologies such as ReactJS and Next.js. By implementing best practices, the team aims to improve performance, scalability, and extensibility of the platform. Additionally, the project seeks to establish a composable architecture, laying a robust foundation to support future growth and adaptability, ensuring that the client remains at the forefront of innovation in the AdTech sector. 

• Collaborate with client teams to migrate existing Front-end solutions to ReactJS and Next.js, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions  
• Design and implement modern Front-end architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance  
• Develop robust, reusable, and modular components that align with best practices and industry standards  
• Introduce and enforce Front-end best practices, including atomic design and performance optimization  
• Analyze existing code bases to identify and resolve inefficiencies or areas of improvement 
• Analyze and estimate work in an agile environment  
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to established standards  

• 3+ years of experience in Front-end development with ReactJS 
• Proficiency with Next.js and SSR/SSG for building high-performance and scalable web applications 
• Strong knowledge of Front-end architecture, including component-based design, micro-frontends, state management, and dataflow patterns
• Familiarity with Front-end tooling (Webpack, ESLint, Prettier, etc.) and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Proven ability to optimize web applications for performance 
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and integration best practices 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach toward identifying solutions 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience of collaborating in English in a remote or distributed team environment 
• Effective time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently
