TechCrunch  is looking for an experienced Creative Strategy Manager for the advertising and event sales team:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead creative strategy and development for RFPs, RFIs, and proactive requests 

  • Develop and implement clear, and visually compelling pitch materials to convey insights, ideas, and value to clients – for on-platform, events and off-platform opportunities

  • Collectively work with the sales team to understand clients' qualified and measurable KPIs, and identify the most creative solutions for the brands

  • Captivate a room of content/creative decision makers by bringing your ideas to life, with the ability to brainstorm in real time with senior level clients 

  • Facilitate brainstorming with editorial and product to ensure that creative concepts are in line with organic programming and audience consumption habits

  • Revive and own the go-to-market materials for the TechCrunch advertising offerings

  • Create and educate on effective distribution strategies based both on platform-specific best practices while tying back to client KPIs

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of creative strategy experience at an agency, content studio or brand

  • A strong understanding of advertising and best-practices across all digital formats and social channels 

  • A strong understanding of tech media, BtoB client categories, events  and  the tech industry at large

  • Experience pitching high-level concepts effectively to both internal stakeholders and clients.

  • The ability to leverage research and insights to successfully reinforce client strategy

  • A self-starter that proactively seeks opportunities to leverage and can hit the ground running

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and external partners

  • A willingness to embrace a culture of collaboration

  • A person people would describe as dynamic, inspiring and highly intelligent

The compensation for this position ranges from $91,500.00 - $190,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
