About the role and what you'll be doing:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven, Public Cloud Pre-Sales Overlay Specialist to join our Digital Practice focused on accelerating our client’s business initiatives in and around public cloud. In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.
This role requires a combination of a high degree of technical competency aligned with good social skills and is ideally suited to an ex hands-on senior/lead public cloud consultant. You must be able to take a holistic view of any opportunity, and understand not only the specifics of the requirement, but also the dependencies and peripheral services which may influence the solution.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Client Executives and Cloud Consulting team to develop and solution Public Cloud Consulting and Managed Service opportunities based on our portfolio of services
- Working as part of the Ensono Digital sales function, and functionally embedded within the delivery team, develop customized consulting and managed services proposals that meet the unique needs of each client and ensure a consistent and effective end to end project delivery.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by leveraging relationships, industry knowledge, and partnering with our Client Executives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain technical currency, keeping abreast of industry trends and technical advancements in public cloud. Lead by example.
- Develop proposals, presentations, statements of work, and commercial models in collaboration with the delivery team.
- Influence and direct client teams to position the best solution for any given circumstance.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior Cloud Consultant/Architect including 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience
- Experience working within an IT outsource/managed services organization and a good appreciation of the commercials
- Appropriate Azure and AWS certification(s), such as one or more of the following:
- Azure:
- Associate
- Expert
- Specialty
- AWS:
- Associate
- Professional
- Specialty.
- Practical experience in a similar role is also weighted of course.
- Extensive proven expertise and experience in Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure, migrations, and modern cloud native services
- Understanding and experience of various public cloud billing models, the advantages and constraints of each, and what and how workloads can migrate between them
- Intimate knowledge of Cloud frameworks and best practices such as Well-Architected Framework (WAF) and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
- Knowledge of Azure and AWS billing and commercial models
