Product Development Coordinator (Contract)
New York, NY (hybrid with 2-3 days in-office)
Extendable Contract position

The Product Development Coordinator is an individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products and ensuring timely execution. This role acts as the main point person for development details with vendor partners and is part of the product development team for the Designer Collection (bras & panties) and Shapewear. The position is hybrid with 2-3 days in-office and is ideal for candidates with prior experience or internships in product design/development.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the development process for prototype products and monitor overall product line development.
Create and update seasonal composite sheets, classification charts, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Manage weekly updates and ensure composites are used effectively for communication with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising teams.
Track development timelines and ensure execution within set timeframes.
Communicate design development details and collaborate with the design team.
Maintain costing charts and tools for merchants/planning reference.

Requirements:

3-5 years of product design/development experience, preferably in a similar role.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a strong team player.
Experience with Centric PLM (preferred).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to quick changes in priorities and deliverables.
Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment (2-3 days in office).
A track record of successfully working on product development projects and maintaining costing charts and tools.
