The Role
We are looking for a Director of Website Strategy to join our Digital Experience team at Wpromote! You’ll be at the forefront of driving transformative website projects for a growing list of amazing clients. Combining your expertise in Digital Strategy, UI/UX Research, and Client Services, you’ll craft high-performing websites that make a real impact. The ideal candidate is an exceptional strategic leader, with sharp communication skills, and the confidence to collaborate directly with C-Suite executives to bring their vision to life. As an independent contributor, you will report directly to our VP, Digital Experience and lead 2-4 high-impact projects at any given time, shaping digital experiences that truly stand out.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $129,000 - $139,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions
**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!

You Will Be:Leading and managing the successful delivery of large-scale digital experience projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are metSupporting client website strategies across a variety of business verticals and industriesGuiding clients in developing their digital website strategies for a new project, with an emphasis on user-centered design principles and marketing performanceInterpreting and articulating clients' business challenges and goals, while collaborating with design and technology teams to transform strategic insights into high-performing, user-focused website solutions that deliver measurable resultsExecute strategic analysis to solve business questions. This includes gathering information on our client's business processes, critical success factors, user personas, and peer set through interviews and researchBuilding and nurturing long-term relationships by understanding client needs and delivering value-driven solutionsIdentifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and contribute to new business pitches by showcasing expertise in digital strategy, UI/UX, and client servicesStructuring client presentations, documentation, and other collateral as neededProviding thought leadership on UI/UX best practices, emerging trends, and digital innovation
You Must Have:7+ years of hands-on experience as a UI/UX Designer or UI/UXResearcher, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principlesDemonstrated ability to lead large, complex projects and manage multiple client accountsStrong business acumen and boardroom presence, with the ability to present and communicate effectively to C-suite stakeholdersProficiency in tools and platforms relevant to UI/UX design and digital project management (e.g., Figma, Sketch, CRO, User Testing, or similar)Strong data analysis skills, including the use of qualitative and quantitative data in supporting decision-makingExceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
